Relevant Education

The last, but certainly not the least, of our four-fold approach in connecting people to Jesus is through relevant education. Our goal is not simply to teach a series of Bible facts and/or stories, but to teach God’s word in such a way that its relevancy for our lives is readily seen and can be applied.

The centerpiece of our Sunday morning education is Kingdom Quest, a multi-sensory program designed to teach children God’s Word through the use of puppets, songs, crafts, and lessons. Children ages three years old through 5th grade participate in this exciting experience. Our middle school and high school students meet in Christ’s Workshop and through the use of both music and video learn what it means to be a disciple of Christ.

Adults have the opportunity to participate in both in-depth Bible studies and practical life application studies on Sunday morning as well as a pastor-led class on Thursday mornings also.

There are also a number of small group and home group studies that combine both the relevant education and caring fellowship aspects of our ministry into one monthly event.

Do you provide infant care on Sunday mornings?

What is Kingdom Quest?

Kingdom Quest is an interactive learning experience for age 3 through 5th grade where the children learn about God’s love and the events and people of the Bible through the use of puppets, music videos, crafts, games, snacks, and hands on illustrations. This program begins in our Kingdom Quest puppet tree house room.

Youth (Middle School and High School)

There are 2 classes offered for our pre-teen and teenage students. Both groups meet in the Christ’s Workshop facility. In this relaxed environment each group, respectively, discusses issues pertaining to life in Christ pertinent to their particular stage in life.

Adults

Pastor John leads an adult class that generally dissects and discusses the Bible, one book and/or topic at a time. This group meets in the fellowship hall.

Additional Educational Opportunities

In addition to these Sunday morning classes we also offer an adult midweek class on Thursday mornings during the school year, a Catechism class on Wednesday evenings for our 7th and 8th graders preparing for Confirmation, and a Vacation Bible School program for our children during the summer months.
