Please specify whether the prayer request is for the prayer chain and/or the worship service.
Why pray?
Entire books are dedicated to this question. We pray for a variety of reasons, first and foremost because God commands us to, and because He promises to hear us and to answer us.
Prayer is a means by which we communicate our hearts, our hopes, and our hurts to God.
