Confirmation – Sunday, May 19

Join fellow members in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, May 19th, at 9:30 am for the questioning of this year’s confirmand, who will then be confirmed during the late service.

Kingdom Quest – Sunday, May 19

The lesson for Sunday, May 19 is “The Witnessing Church” from Acts 5:17-42. Kingdom Quest will take a break on Sunday, May 26 for Memorial Day Weekend. A video will be shown. Kingdom Quest curriculum will resume in September after Rally Day. Kingdom Quest is a multi-sensory program on Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am designed to teach children (age 3 – Grade 5) God’s Word.

Eunice Guild – Tuesday, May 21

The Eunice Guild will go to lunch on Tuesday, May 21st, 2013 at 11:30 am at El Gallo on South Congress. It will be Dutch Treat and everyone is invited to attend. Reservations are required by May 14th. Please call the Church Office.

Volunteer at Food Bank – Saturday, June 1

In four years of sorting donations at the Capital Area Food Bank (8201 South Congress Ave.), we’ve worked with individuals and groups from our community to help process pounds of food equaling over 55,000 meals.

Vacation Bible School – Summer ’13 Sunday Mornings

The theme for this summer’s Sunday morning VBS from 9:30-10:30 am starting on June 2 is “Tell It on the Mountain” from Concordia Publishing House. Children will learn about our one true God through five mountaintop Bible accounts where God meets His people with clear messages of His might and grace.
